A Walk Down Memory Lane

1. Add a comment or a memory you have of the two of us together. It doesn't matter if you know me very well or just a little, it can be anything.It can be a recent memory or from way back. Once you leave a comment I will assume you are playing too. 2. Add these instructions to your own Blog and enjoy the memories rolling in.

How do I narrow it down?? Lets see...Sitting in Young Womans thinking we were pretty dang cool and laughing and talking for hours on end! I also remember sitting in my awesome car before we could drive and wishing we were already 16! I also remember the one night my mom actually let me drive you home and how cool we thought we were!! I remember you being there for me when my mom was sick and we went to lunch to talk the day before she passed away..you have always been one of my best friends! Thanks Shel!! Love ya

* your love of oranges, dis-tate for oatmeal, peanut butter and banana textures, and don't forget nuts in ice cream - I love it - you DO NOT :)
* singing with you for Seminary Firesides, in church, at home, in choirs, etc.
* your drive to make money - and doing babysitting, cleaning, lemonade stands, garage sales, cupcake (FHE treat sales door to door)
* combining Easter or Halloween candy together and you being the divider
* dolls under the stairs
* bonnie & emily (esp. their voices)
*the keyboard and our songwriting masterpieces
* "I'm talkin' to the man in the mirror"
*the fairy egg and stories we wrote about it
* The Chipmunk Adventure
*singin'under the stars on the tramp (in perfect harmony of course)
*hearing about your crushes and dating and sharing about mine
*living together in SL - both *getting engaged the same summer
*our trips after we've had babies and your service to me in recovery
*hey -we're sisters - we have THE MOST memories ever! But most of all I just remember feeling like I had a built-in best-friend and was always so proud of you! Love you my Shell!

I think the most glorious principle ever taught by the Lord's prophets is that "Families Can Be Forever"! There's no room to list almost 30 years of memories that I've locked tightly in my heart about my Shell', but as I open it up and turn the pages of memory lane, they jump out by the thousands:
* The news of a second daughter. Oh what joy!
* The cry of life at your entrance into this world and onto the sage of our family! I'll never forget that picture and the delight on your mother's face! Oh my!
* Memories picture after memories picture as you lived with us day after day - a smile here, a laugh her, and that little turn of your smile and the delight in your eyes.
* A party in the tub with big sis, or an oreo cookie fest in the baby swing. , , and hundreds more every week! All are stored there in my heart!
I love you my Shell'!

Love, Daddy

Being your Young Women's advisor and loving every minute of it. Knowing that the future was in good hands with the young women I was lucky enough to "advise" Oh how I love you girls, still to this day. I'm so glad I have found you again. I have so many memories of you, but I do remember how well you sing. My favorite is, "In This Very Room" when I hear it, I totally picture you, Chrystal, and Becca.

Love ya tons, Tammy Clayton

There are so many but I think the time that came to me is when you lived with us when you were just married and we worked out almost everyday. I had so much fun with you that year. I think back when we all went to the stake dance married girls and all and how much fun it was! Also what a treat it was to be with you when Morgan was just born and learn how to be a good mother. What great memories.
