Merry Christmas

Christmas Morning! Yipee Santa came!!

Baby Alive

(Every year there seems to be ONE present that I can't seem to shake, or change their minds about.... This was it! (luckily it was cheap and I was able to get it on Chrismtas eve.)

Brooklyn was thrilled to get everything on and ready for a test drive. We thought it was so funny how she wanted to put the back pack on in front, like mommy wears with baby chase. She had another baby in the stroller too... Just like mommy does.
Great family gift for all the kids music delight... This is super fun because it has a little mini kid-version mp3 player that allows them to record themselves singing, their music, and then play it back with ear phones. Unfortunately it is also a double edged sword. My poor ears. They BELT the few songs they know all the words to, over and over and over and over and over and over and over again in the blasting microphone. Way to go mom, shoot myself in the foot on this one!
Tyler is totally into Super Heroes and action figures, so was excited to have actual figures of spiderman, batman, and superman.
This tool table is a crack up because it was the total Christmas hit for all. I got it at a garage sale for $2, and decided to save it for Christmas. Oh the Irony! I mean seriously why couldn't the $50 gifts have that affect. LOL!
Later on Christmas day G-ma and G-pa Crowder came over with Cousin Johnny, Dylan and Uncle Justin and Aunt Anna for some playtime. They were super excited to have another round of present opening.

Thank You Hugs

These Barbies were collectibles that made me wish I was little again. They are so pretty and have really fun clothes. They turned out to be most definitely a favorite for Morgan too.

Tyler has to get this out daily!

Lil Chasey boy slept through the whole thing! He got some new binkis, hand me down toys from the siblings, and a nice full belly of Milk. He couldn't be happier. Thank heavens he did sleep because it was very stressful with the other 3, trying to take pictures, film, and help them open the presents that belonged to them. Tyler can't read his name yet so if the thought he saw a "T" he was opening everyone else's. It was very cute and enjoyable although it felt like a full hour of MAYEM! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, with lots of love and Cheer!

Fruit Beer and Nummy Nums

At our house these are "nummy nums" (Brooklyn)

and this is "fruit beer" (Tyler)

One of my most favorite things about being a mom of little ones, is getting to enjoy the funniest, cutest, most adorable little words and phrases that kids come with. Often many of them make perfect sense, and give you a little sneak peak into their minds.
Tyler is almost 4 and still thinks that lunch time is "munch" time. I often use it too in order to keep the cute word alive a little longer.
Morgan thinks that fertlizer is "turtleizer," and Brooklyn thinks that a burp is a "bert." This is one part of being mommy that I can't get enough of, and have had many a laughs at hearing all the cute things your kids say too! Love it love it love it!

My little Helping Hands

Mischeivious
Silly
Simply Adorable!
I just had to take a quick moment to post how grateful I am for this little person's helping hands!!! She exceeds the expectations of a needful mother who knows she does more than any typical 5 year old should, and I love her dearly for it! She is a gift to me, and oh how much I need her! I love you sweetheart.

One Month Old

So far the eyes are still blue but I'm betting on hazel in another month or so.

Little Chase is one month old. It often makes me shake my head in awe of how quickly these moments pass. He's so much a part of our family and thought of so often by the kids, its amazing how we got along without him. So far his temperment is very mild and pleasant and has a sweetness about him that I can't explain. He loves to be together with mommy (of course) but also enjoys being held by Tyler and Morgan. He endures Brooklyn and surprisingly can take quite a bit of "loving abuse" before he calls out for rescue.

Our New Reality

Brooklyn is still not sure she's ok with this new baby and most especially the feeding business! She was so cute and happy today, I had to just capture a few pictures of this cute face! She is so pleasant and happy when her needs are being met and she feels included. My heart aches for the nights that she has cried hysterically and moments of random unconsoleable behavior, but most of the time she is this happy, funny, spontaneous cutie that you see in these pictures.

4 Days Old
5 Days Old and a fun visit from his new best buddy cousing Ryker!

Tyler is the absolute sweetest with Chase. He asks to hold him often throughout the day, and when he gets his turns they last for at least 20 minutes at a time. He is so patient and loving.

Sad Brooklyn....Brooklyn is hanging in there as she struggles to adjust to her new world of sharing mommy with a tiny baby. She was having a rough day and needed a mommy cuddle.

10 Days Old and a nice surprise visit from Grandma Crowder.
9 Days Old

Chase gets to Meet Grandma Braden! Hooray for moms! I am so happy my mom has been here from Utah this week. I am scared to have to face it all alone when she leaves on Tuesday, she has been so wonderful, and helpful, and fun for my kids. We love you Grandma!

Mommy snuggles! Our favorite.

My little Angel Boy! He is so sweet and such a good baby. I am so relieved that he's so mild natured. He is so much fun.
